WHAT IS THIS?
This is a collection of memories that shouldn't exist.
Specific, detailed memories of events and places that apparently don't
exist. Products we can describe in detail that were never manufactured.
People we remember clearly who have no record.
The interesting part isn't that memory is unreliable. We know that.
The interesting part is the clustering. Many people, with no
connection to each other, sharing the exact same wrong memory. Same
details. Same confidence. Same surprise when they discover they're
wrong.
This site has been collecting these reports since 1998. We now have
over 200 documented cases from contributors across six countries.
